It’s been many years since there has been a conference on the West coast with a focus on training new SBA lenders and providing a platform for training the next generation of SBA lending staff. Our goal is to provide cost effective training for your entire team regardless of their tenure in SBA lending, while also attracting new SBA lenders. Much of the agenda will be focused on basic and intermediate material, while also providing sessions on hot button management issues such as finding and retaining great BDO’s and lending staff.
This conference is ideal for banks in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and neighboring states - those either not currently active in SBA lending or lenders that want to become higher volume lenders. We've got educational topics to cover 7(a), Community Advantage, 504, Secondary Market and more.
America West will be unlike any conference you've attended! Our in-depth experiential training for both 7(a) and 504 lenders will use real-life case studies, interactive hands-on approaches to engage participants in our workshops and mini training sessions facilitated by experts in the industry.
Participants will have the option to attend between 6-7 different sessions in one or more of our three tracks designed for Novice, Experienced or Management levels, and will receive tangible takeaways to build their knowledge base and nurture best practices and processes, while maintaining a high level of compliance. Chuck Evans joined Capital Growth Solutions in December of 2017 as President. Mr. Evans has 30 years in commercial banking and economic development lending. Prior to joining Capital Growth Solutions, he was President, CEO and Co-Founder of PrudentLenders, LLC after having previously served as Managing Director for Pennsylvania’s largest Certified Development Company: South Eastern Economic Development Company. Mr. Evans has been an active supporter of small business and an active participant in the industry associations, National Association of Certified Development Companies (“NADCO”) and National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (“NAGGL”). Chuck has a B.A Economics from Catawba College. He has two children and resides in Port Deposit, MD with his wife Karen Evans.
Ken Rosenthal has 26 years experience as Senior Advisor – Lending, Education & Training for CDC Capital Markets. Ken is a NADCO Sales & Marketing Training Instructor and former board member of NADCO and has funded over 1,000 SBA-504 loans for more than $2 billion.
